Designer Terms

These terms govern the publication of wedding invitation designs on the Farah app through the Designer Portal (farah-app.com/designers). Farah is operated by Bellevie Company, a limited liability company registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under Unified National Number 7054771246, referred to in these terms as "Farah" or "we". By submitting an application or uploading a design, you agree to these terms.

1. Joining Farah

• To join Farah as a designer, sign in to the Designer Portal, complete your personal and bank account details, upload your designs, and submit your application for review. The Farah team will review your application and designs and may approve or reject your application, providing reasons in the event of rejection.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account login credentials secure.

2. Designs and Intellectual Property Rights

• You confirm that every design you upload is your original work, that you own all rights to it, and that it does not contain any third-party images, artwork, fonts, or logos without appropriate licensing.
• You retain ownership of your designs and grant Farah an exclusive licence to use them as wedding invitation templates for as long as they are published on the platform. This includes displaying them on the app and website, resizing and compressing them, adding invitation text, displaying Farah's logo on previews, and allowing brides to use and share their invitations with guests. The expiry of this licence does not affect brides' continued right to use designs they have previously purchased, as set out in this section.
• Exclusivity: while a design is published on Farah, you may not offer or sell it as a digital or printed invitation template through any other app, website, or store.
• Brides who have purchased your design retain the right to use it in their invitations and share them with their guests, even after the design is hidden or removed from Farah or Farah's exclusive licence has ended.
• Farah may feature your published designs on its official social media accounts and in advertising campaigns, with credit to you as the designer.

3. Design Review and Publication

• The Farah team reviews every design before it is published and may approve or reject it, with the reason for a rejection shared with the designer.
• You suggest a price tier for your design, and the Farah team determines the final tier upon approval. Farah may adjust the price tier later, with changes applying only to new purchases.
• Farah may hide any design from the app or change its display order at any time.
• You may ask us to hide a published design; we hide it within 7 business days.

4. Sales

• The bride pays a one-time fee for the design through an in-app purchase via the App Store or Google Play.
• Every sale of your designs is recorded, and a purchase invoice is issued by Bellevie Company for each transaction. You can access these invoices through your dashboard after signing in.
• Farah does not offer refunds for design purchases; this clause only covers refunds made directly by Apple or Google. If Apple or Google issues a refund before your earnings are paid, the sale is excluded from your payout. If the refund occurs after payment, the amount is deducted from your next payout.
• You can choose how to receive sales notifications through your dashboard: WhatsApp, email, or no notifications.

5. Earnings and Payouts

• You receive 70% of the design price paid by the bride. The remaining 30% covers VAT (15%), Apple or Google fees, and Farah Service Fees.
• Earnings from each month's sales are paid on the 10th of the following month by bank transfer to an account in your name in Saudi Arabia, with an IBAN starting with SA, using the details provided on your profile.
• If the designer's earnings percentage changes in the future, you will be notified in advance. Any changes will not affect sales completed before the new percentage takes effect.
• You are responsible for any taxes or legal obligations applicable to you.
• If fraud or a breach of these terms is suspected, Farah may withhold payouts until the investigation is complete.

6. Prohibited Content

• Copied or third-party-owned content, including trademarks or logos belonging to others.
• Images of people or any content that violates Saudi Arabian laws, public decency, or religious values.
• Text, names, contact numbers, or links embedded in the design.

7. Account Suspension

Farah may suspend a designer's account and hide their designs if these terms are breached, including copying others' work or violating exclusivity requirements. If a design is found to infringe third-party rights, the designer is not entitled to any share of sales from that design.

8. Liability

You are responsible for any claims relating to the intellectual property rights of your designs and agree to compensate Farah for any damages resulting from a design that violates Section 2 of these terms.

9. Privacy

We handle your personal data in accordance with Farah's Privacy Policy and the Personal Data Protection Law of Saudi Arabia.

10. Amendments and Governing Law

Farah may update these terms and will announce any material changes on this page and through the Designer Portal. These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
